I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Plante Moran (Southfield, MI) in Mar 2020
Interview
interview was 1 hour long, spent 30 min with two accounting parters who actually work in the field. It was a really nice interview process since it felt like two really good conversations vs the usual, stress provoking questions at any other interview. You just need to know how to converse and make yourself look good, even if that means talking about good grades in school and how you dealt with any struggles (i.e. time management for projects/classes/work). I really enjoyed the experience and got a call back later that week with an offer.

What are some challenges you faced and how did you overcome them?
Asked common interview questions, explained company and benefits. Technical questions. Thirty minutes with recruiter, thirty minutes with manager, thirty minutes with partner. Overall solid experience. Would try again if offered.

Question 1
What was a challenge you encountered with a colleague and how did you solve it.
There was a thirty minute phone call screening with a human resources representative. It was not bad by any means. I know there will also be an interview for one hour with two other people.
I had a over the phone interview first to gain some insight about the company. Then I had a second interview where I learned about the company and talked to 2 current employees.
