Interview process was quick but ended with unprofessional way. I had been seeing the role for 4 months. I was contacted by HR over my application and they set my first interview very quickly with C-level. It was very productive and enlightening 30 mins call with them. Just 15 mins after the call, HR contacted me and told that they would like to call me the last stage with hiring manager. It was set in 4 days. Everything was good with hiring manager call too. She told me that i ticked all the boxes and i openly said that i have some gaps but i can easily close them which was just 20% of the role. Anyway, we closed the meeting by saying seeing each other "very soon". I thought that i grabbed the role. HR contact also told me that he heard a lot of positive comments about me. 2 days later, they sent me an email saying that hiring manager will be too busy in the next couple of months and there will be no time to onboard me. And HM mentioned that there will be possibility after Feb. It is Oct now! 3 months. Role had been open for 4 months, i had all interviews in a quick way in a week and HM just realised there is no time for onboarding. Is that a joke? Company must know everybody's time is very valuable. Feelings as well! You cannot call unemployed person for a quick HR process and said everything about you is good but HM just told there is no time for them to onboard somebody! this is un-professionalism!!!
