I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Polaris FT (Manipal) in Sep 2015
Interview
First there was an on-line test. The test consisted of 3 sections : Aptitude, Java and Data Base.
It was okayish. Out of 70 ppl sitting in my college , 16 got in . Next we had a GD round, where some random topic was given. Mine was to discuss why indian students are leaving India for higher studies & for better jobs.
Next we had 12 candidates short-listed for the interview, There was only 1 interview . There are two interviewers , 1 for technical & 1 for HR.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
My interview went pretty good. They ask everything you have in your Resume, about yourself, about your future plans on higher studies or education . They also ask you about the open electives you had taken in college, other co curricular activities.
The technical guy asks basic question about java & RDBMS. Revise the concepts nicely.
Written Test- It is an multiple choice question. We require coding and debugging knowledge with strong concept knowledge. Once you cleared this, then there will be two technical rounds and HR round

Interview
direct and concise interview, we got to understand each other well, clear questions, I don't like the schedule, his watch was late and he made me wait which bothered me a lot, I don't want to wait for an employer
they have selected some candidates.. even handed over offers. but didn't gave joining date... false commitments. Don't Recommend 2 any one 2 at least attend the interviews. Very unhappy and disappointed...
