I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Pollo Tropical (Pinellas Park, FL) in Jun 2018
Interview
Very fast and easy interview. The manager printed my application and was just going over it with me. He just asked me to “tell me about yourself”, he asked about my availability, if I had non-slip shoes and black pants, if I was able to make it early in the morning. He told me what I would be doing, he told me what I would be getting paid and when I would start working. Hired on the spot.
Very simple and straight forward. What roles can you do, have you used a cash register before? Can you lift 50 lbs and be constantly bending down. Are you bilingual, they seemed to hire me on the spot.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Pollo Tropical
Interview
Pretty easy going interview. I was a student at the time with little hospitality experience. Everyone was welcoming for the most part. Questions revolved around my availability and overall work experience. You don’t need to know Spanish but it can be helpful.
