Phone call with recruiter (which was great!) and then phone screen with a person on the team. Terrible experience with the phone screen and very unprofessional performance from the interviewer. From a 50 minute scheduled interview, the interviewer was: - 16 minutes late - Taking the phone call while looking for a conference room - Never introduced herself, so I had to proactively ask her who she was and what her role was - Rattled off questions like a book, and offered no feedback or conversation whatsoever - Only asked 3-4 cursory questions (which lasted a total of 15 minutes!) before switching to "do you have questions for me" mode - Answered my questions with basic one-liners that I would guess were less than 15 word sentences It felt like there was already a decision made before I even started my interview, and the interviewer did not care who I was or my experience, and just wanted to quickly end the interview so they could reject me.
