Interview
I interviewed for the Head of Digital role and was initially excited about the role. The interview seemed engaging and aligned with the company’s focus on digital transformation. However, after being told that I would receive an update within a week, no one followed up. I sent a polite email the following week and was ghosted. So I chose to withdraw my application as it made me question whether the Post Office actually cares about its own values.
For a company that values such as Move it Forward and Own the Outcome, this lack of communication and accountability was disappointing; especially when you invest significant time and energy preparing for senior-level interviews and silence after a clear commitment to follow up in my opinion reflects poorly on leadership and culture.
