After sending my CV, I was invited for an interview. This was a single stage interview process held with the postmaster, after which I was offered the role within three days.

Interview
Very friendly and welcoming. The interviewer was extremely nice and made me feel very comfortable and at ease. It was more of an informal set-up with me sitting on a spin chair and the interviewer standing writing answers and details on a form. It was overall a very laid back thing and a great experience for my first in-person interview. Uniform, tasks and previous experience was all discussed. It was very clear that the team were all very warm and close and I would really love to work there. Hopefully, I'll get it!

Do you have an alcohol licence? (This did not apply to my role but they had to ask since the post office was connected to a one-stop, I don't think it hindered my chances of getting in though since they said it doesn't apply to the post office much, so not to worry)

Appllied. Got an email saying I had an interview a few days later. Went in for my interview (1-1, very simple questions and they got back to me within a few days via email, letting me know I had got the job.
