Filled out an application, had an initial phone call where they explained the role and very vague questions about having reliable transportation, general work history, why I wanted to work at the company.

Question 1
Do you have reliable transportation to get to the office
It was a solid overall experience. The hiring manager was nice. The office overall was very nice and I enjoy the amenity space and what they offer for a new person out of school. It was nice meeting people on the floor.
Slimy. Applied for inside sales rep and the only description of the role was delivering sales presentations. Had an initial phone screen and after he immediately drilled me with questions I wanted to know more about the role since the posting was vague. After 10 mins of him hyping up the company he finally said it was a door knocking role. Misleading and waste of time. Told him I’m not interested
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Power Home Remodeling (Chester, PA) in Sep 2025
Interview
Straight forward. My initial recruiter was great and explained the entire process a ton. Followed up with good insights to know and had a genuine interest. First interview was with one of the VPs - gathered some insight, asked basic questions and explained the sales process. 2nd interview was with the other VP (JC)- went more in depth about the role, toured the facility and got some in-person shadowing. JC is the only real person in leadership!
