I was referred by a current employee, I had the pleasure of working with in the past with a previous employer. I had a 30-minute call with the recruiter who asked very specific questions about my expertise for the role. She shared information about the SIS, Bain Capital, and they had the largest IPO in K-12 software. We ended with her sharing that she was moving me to the next round to interview with the VP, Revenue Marketing and would be in touch.
After 16 days and no response to two emails sent, I officially withdrew my interest. I could tell this was not the right cultural fit for me, as they couldn't even take 2 minutes to email me a "rejection" even though they were moving me to the next round. It spoke volumes about their culture.
