I applied online and within a few days received a call to complete an in-person interview. I drove 45mins to do the interview. The supervisor I met with was overall kind and asked standard interview questions. The supervisor attempted to pitch a different lesser paying job with overnight hours to me during the interview and spent over 75% of the interview talking about herself and other jobs in the company.
She informed me that she would contact me back with an answer on employment in about 5 days. I was never contacted back either by phone or email. If I provided my time and energy to drive 45mins each way and pay for a sitter to complete an interview it is unprofessional to not even contact a person back about not getting the job.
