I applied online an was told that I would receive a response within 48 working hours. In actuality I did not hear back until OVER A MONTH LATER, by which time I had already applied to, interviewed for, been offered and had actually started another job. As this job was also only part-time I decided to attend the Primark interview in hopes of combining the two, to make up full-time hours. At the interview the first question asked was "What is your availability?". I explained the situation, and that my current manager was willing to be flexible, however I would be required to work Saturdays and Sundays at my current job. It was only then that the Primark interviewer informed me that the job was specifically Saturday and Sunday hours. The interviewer asked if, given this, I would like to bother continuing the interview or not and I decided not to. This annoyed me, as no where in the application process had it been stated that the position was for specified days only. If Primark had not taken so long to get back to me, and stated from the start that this was a weekend only position, it would have saved me wasting my time and them wasting their own time.
