I applied online. Was contacted by a 3rd party for a phone screen. Seemed fine, they were nice, had good questions- but didn’t know much about the role. Next step, was a zoom call with another leader. For me, it was a little concerning that this person’s LinkedIn didn’t reflect that they work there. I worry about interview scams. It’s a senior role, but scheduled us only for 30 mins. They asked me a few situational questions, but couldn’t get through my background as this was bumping into their next meeting. I couldn’t ask my questions that I had prepared and realized that I didn’t even know who this role reports into. It was then that the next candidate popped into the meeting, which was super weird and awkward. So the interviewer had to tell that candidate to leave. Next step, I got detailed instructions to do a 4 part psychometric screening. At the bottom of the email it had instructions to schedule another 60 minute debrief with someone from that psychometric company. So let me get this straight, I should take a 4 part psychometric examination, then I should schedule 60 mins with someone to discuss it? When I only got 30 rushed mins with the hiring manager?? Then what are the next steps after that?? I sent them two personality profiles I just did for another company and in so many words told them that this should be sufficient and that I’m more than happy to schedule more time, but haven’t heard from them. Writing this Glassdoor review because they have a very high rating which I suspect is manufactured by soliciting reviews versus from truly happy employees. This feels very off to me and a bit unprofessional.
