Instead of being interviewed for the position I applied for, it appeared to have been a fake job listing in order to interview me as a subject for their recruiting services instead.

Instead of asking me questions relating to the position I applied for, they asked me questions about my background and job search. They were not looking to hire me, but rather enter me into their applicant/recruiting pool.
