I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Procore Technologies (San Diego, CA) in Apr 2016
Interview
I went through 3 different interviews with this company. First I talked to a recruiter on the phone which went pretty well, and then she had me to do a video chat with the "Web Manager". The interview with the web manager also went really well, and he provide great information about the company, role and the process. After the second interview, they gave me a project to work on for about a week.
They did a great job on providing details information about what needs to be done. I used all of my time to implement the requirements and tests as well as describing my implementation. Once I submitted the project, the recruiter just sent me an Email after a week that they don't want to move forward with me anymore.
The team didn't bother to spend couple minutes to provide some feedbacks for a project that I spent full week on it. Also I asked them specifically to provide me some feedback but they just ignored it. I understand there are many projects from different candidates for them to review and they can't provide feedback for every single project. However once the candidate specifically asked for it and spent a week on it, it is fair to ask them to spend few minutes to provide at least couple bullet points as feedback.
Overall the company sounds exciting to work for, and they seems to know what they are building. However they don't necessary give any value to your work as a candidate.
Recruiter call. Then panel interview easy process. Was very straightforward and communicative along the entire way of the process. Super easy and recruiter was amazing emails through out the process
Typical process- recruiter reached out, had 5 interviews over zoom, and then the offer was sent. I negotiated and while they were hesitant, they ended up giving me what I wanted.
