I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Procore Technologies (Austin, TX) in Mar 2017
Interview
The entire interview process was very efficient and low stress - it was a total of three weeks from application to job offer. The process consisted of an initial screening call with a recruiter, a phone interview with the hiring manager, and in-person/phone interviews with three team leaders. I also had the opportunity to meet with the hiring manager and some future colleagues before the final interview because they happened to be in town that week. Throughout the process, while there were a few classic interview questions such as "tell me about yourself," the interviews felt like conversations and were largely a time for me to ask questions about the job and company. All of the conversations were laid back and give-and-take, and it seemed like the most important thing was getting to know each other in order to evaluate the cultural fit. Compared with interviews I've had at other companies, I was amazed at how okay it was to be a normal human being! It felt easy and natural from the start.
