I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Procore Technologies in Mar 2018
Interview
The process was two behavioral interviews and one technical phone interview. The last step is an onsite final interview. The first impression was not positive for the guys at Procore. For the first round, the recruiter called me two hours after the scheduled time. I knew it was a red flag but I kept going with it for some reason. Then I was contacted by another recruiter. This person was in charge of the rest of the interviewing process. The second behavioral interview was better and the interviewer was very positive and liked my background. Then I got pushed to the third interview, which was technical. The interviewer was positive. I solved the challenge and we were chatting after. Surprisingly, the interviewer did not know much about the hiring process and was assigned to do this task remotely without much knowledge about what would happen next. After that, I was contacted by the second recruiter to send my availability for a final interview to discuss the position and meet the team. Then the next day I get an email from a recruiter " who I had no contact with throughout this whole process" stating that they hired someone already and this position is closed. I know that filling the last position happens among companies, but you took a lot of my time that I could have spent studying for midterms and projects at school to deal with your recruiters being late, and be dedicating all the time for interviews that at the end were a waste of time. If this shows anything, it shows disrespect to future employees and your reputation as a company.
Recruiter call. Then panel interview easy process. Was very straightforward and communicative along the entire way of the process. Super easy and recruiter was amazing emails through out the process
Typical process- recruiter reached out, had 5 interviews over zoom, and then the offer was sent. I negotiated and while they were hesitant, they ended up giving me what I wanted.
