      Strategic Product Manager Interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Procore Technologies

      Interview

I applied online. Receive an email about a week later and set up a phone call. Quick phone call discussing the company itself and a little on the role. Had another interview a week later with the hiring manager and thought it went very well. A week after that had three more interviews with various employees (panel). All went really well to my knowledge. Three weeks go by after that with no contact. I reached out multiple times and only got an automated rejection email about a month after my last interview. No actual feedback. Wasted almost two months with this interview process and have nothing to show for it. If I’m making it through multiple rounds of interviews with different employees then I’m at least owed some feedback or explanation on why I didn’t get the position. Really disappointed in the way Procore handles their hiring process. I’ve seen numerous negative interviews on here with the VP replying that he’s concerned. I don’t buy it. And I’m not about to waste my time writing an email to a robot only for it to be ignored. Only reason I wrote this was to show that Procore’s hiring process is still a mess. I can only imagine the rest of the company operates just the same.

I appreciate you sharing this information about your candidate experience. What you've described is not at all how we want our applicants to feel, and I'm sorry this was the case for you. I will be sharing this information with my team so we can get to the bottom of what happened. In the meantime, I would be happy to get you the feedback you mentioned above if you reach out to me at employerfeedback@procore.com—I see every email that comes through there and will promptly be in touch if you want to reach out. - BJ McGuire, VP, Global Talent Acquisition
