I applied for the AE Majors role and was contacted the next day by a recruiter and scheduled the interview for a few days later. I walked the interviewer through my resume and my current role, which aligns with the AE position. At the end of the interview, the recruiter felt I'd be a better fit for the AE Install role. The recruiter who recruits for that position said she'd contact me when the position opens up. Two weeks later, I interviewed with the Install recruiter and said I'd be a better fit for Mid Market, which apparently the Hiring Manager agreed. Thinking I'd get a chance to interview with the Hiring Manager, I waited 3 weeks, followed up with the recruiter each week who kept telling me they'd get back to me each week and never did, to only find out they went internal. What a waste of my time and energy.
