      Design Lead Interview

      Feb 8, 2024
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Procter & Gamble

      Interview

Did the design test, went through all of the interviews, met the hiring manager, and even went to the last stage where they asked for my references and documents. HR mentioned that once those were cleared, I would be receiving a call about the offer — HR then proceeded to disappear for 3 weeks and ignored all my follow up emails. I received a formal rejection a couple days after that. This interview process has left a bad taste in my mouth and tarnished the company reputation for me. Interviewees spend so much time preparing for interviews, and this company has shown an appalling lack of respect for their time and effort.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Procter & Gamble in Mar 2023

      Interview

After passing all the assessments and interviews, the recruiter then offered me a position different from the original one I applied for. When I asked for the specifics of this new role, the recruiter told me they would follow up with the Hiring Manager. After two attempts on following up, the recruiter ghosted me.

      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Procter & Gamble (Singapore) in Nov 2021

      Interview

The overall interview process took slightly more than 2 months, and an additional 1 month to get back on result. In total, 3 full months. Aside from assessment tests and design challenge, there were 3 other rounds (1+ hour each) meeting people in various functions, i.e. brand managers, design director and a panel of two department directors. Every round is almost similar - Introduce yourself and a series of situational questions, how you’d handle them etc. 4th and final 30mins with supposedly the reporting person, were mainly aligning on team/role’s expectations, also used this opportunity to ask in-depth questions to find out more about the department and role. In summary, - 1x assessment test - 1x design challenge - 4x rounds of interviews It was quite an experience meeting the P&G team, understanding how they work, however I’d definitely hope that the hiring process could be shorten.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

If you had project A that was given to you months ago, and you’re on track in completing it. However, in the last month, you were given another urgent project B by another PIC, how would you handle this.
