The interview process was very slow, with the second interview nearly three weeks after the first. Nearly a month after the second interview, I was asked to prepare a case study that was dangerously broad - they asked for a full roadmap and strategy for a Upromise brand repositioning. I've had experiences where my interview work has been used without my position in the past, so I told them that I wouldn't be able to do this kind of work unpaid, and withdrew my candidacy. Prodege should rethink the way it assesses its applicants with this kind of work, because it leads to an erosion of trust among their applicants. Or if they are really trying to get people to work for free, they should be a lot more subtle about it.

Question 1
Upromise wants to grow its member base. As part of this, the company wants to migrate its strategy away from one that is primarily focused on the co-branded Upromise credit card to a new position in the market where the online loyalty program is of equal or greater importance to members and prospective members. Part of this includes expanding beyond “college savings” to encompass a wider array of life-event savings goals such as retirement, student loan pay down, home purchase , and others.
You are tasked with leading this strategy. Core to this will be your ability to lead the team in developing focused experiences that tie together user personas, savings goals, messaging, and user acquisition sources that will allow us to grow as a “loyalty program first” platform. Please outline your approach, addressing the following key areas:
Ideal Member Profile & Prioritization
Value Proposition
Product Roadmap & Prioritization needs
Go-to-Market/ UA Strategy
KPIs, Measurement, and Optimization
