Progressive uses automated systems to weed most people out at the start. If your application is lucky enough to meet whatever the system is looking for, the process starts with an assessment that includes personality/customer service related questions, and some basic math questions. Then you do a customer service phone call simulation.
If moved forward from that, you have to then record video responses for 8 pre-recorded situational questions. Finally, if you get through that, you're at the final part. For me, this was a live 1 on 1 interview with HR who asked more background and situational questions.
Be prepared for a very comprehensive and difficult hiring process. I made it to the end and felt I interviewed well, but was told after a week that I wasn't selected for this entry level position despite having an extensive work background and high-level education. I was also told I couldn't apply again for 12 months. What a joke.
If you manage to get hired by Progressive, go buy a lottery ticket.

So far the interview process started with an assessment about yourself and how you would fit into the role along with behavioral and situational style questions. On to the Video interview which is where I am currently at in the process.

I applied and was sent an email to complete a 30 minute assessment that must be completed within 6 days. I completed the assessment about 2 hours after receiving the email. Within about 30 minutes of completing the assessment I received an email stating I was selected for a short video interview as soon as possible and submissions are reviewed in the order in which they are received. This is how far I am in the process so far.
