I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Progressive Insurance in Apr 2023
Interview
Applied late April 2023 and received an email about 5 days later inviting me to take an assessment. Lots of reviews on here discuss how this is structured so I won't go too in depth with that. I received an email the day after I took the assessment (did it on a weekday so your mileage may vary) stating that I passed and could move forward to the recorded interview questions. I stopped the application process at this point. If I had what the application process entailed (I hadn't looked here first) I likely wouldn't have applied. It's not that I felt it was overly complicated, I just didn't want to go through several steps before actually speaking to a human...which apparently is done via telephone which I hate and likely is conducted by someone I wouldn't even be working with/for. I rely a lot on the interview process to clue me in as to what kind of culture I will be working in and what the actual expectations are. Simply offering benefits and a decent salary aren't going to cut it if the company's expectations are unrealistic and by superiors are terrible people.
