I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Progressive Insurance in Nov 2015
Interview
I first met with a recruiter from Progressive at my university's career fair event. I got called by another recruiter in Ohio to schedule a phone interview about two days later from the career event. The phone interview was about half hour to 45 minutes long. Most of the questions were based off an example you gave them. They wanted me to explain exactly and with detail how I handled a situation I told them about. During the phone interview, there were many times we couldn’t hear each other. I would suggest before a phone interview to test out and make sure you have a good connection and use a headset if needed. At the end of the phone interview I was told that they would contact me if they wanted me to continue with the hiring process. I was called and emailed about 5 days later that they wanted to move forward and discuss the next steps. I was told to complete an online assessment and do the online application. After I completed this, I was emailed like two days later that my results and the requirements for the job were not a strong match.
