Interview
Applied online and was offered to interview with a member of the recruiting team. They asked standard questions and had me run through my resume. They said the position wasn't open but they should have an open req in maybe a week. I asked if there was a budget set for the position and she replied yes, but wouldn't share what it was. I was then told I *must* tell her a number for OTE or she "would not be putting me through." After very uncomfortably sharing a range, I was told to follow up with her next week and see if the req was open. Still nothing a week later, I was told to keep checking back week after week to see if the job was available - isn't this the recruiter's job? I stopped following up.
Proofpoint conducted Standard sales job interview. There were 4 rounds total that moved pretty quickly. Spoke with the recruiter, then manager, then director. After extending an offer, they require a background check. The whole process took 1 month.
