Applied online. About a month later a recruiter called asked some general questions, and set up a phone interview with the hiring manager. A face-to-face interview was later set up with a slate of people all the way up to a director. The interview included a technical test. Questions covered some technical issues, and projects worked on and completed in the past. After talking to three people, the recruiter came in and said that "something came up" and that they would have to reschedule the rest of the interview. They then sent a rejection e-mail early the next morning. This could have been legitimate or a just an excuse to get rid of me. If so, it was pretty easy to see through. The people I dealt with were friendly and professional.
