      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Propeller (Portland, OR) in May 2019

      Interview

My experience interviewing with Propeller was very pleasant, streamlined and professional. The process was about 4 weeks from initial screening to offer. This included 2 initial phone screenings with the Recruiting Lead and Director of Operations followed by an in-person interview with a representative of both Marketing and Sales. Last step of the process was a business case in which I was presented with a Marketing-related scenario upon arrival to the office and was given 30 minutes to review before presenting my proposed solution on a whiteboard in front of the CEO and Sr. Marketing Manager. This is designed to observe your thought process, creativity and critical thinking, so I didn't get too detailed. The expectations, communication, and timelines throughout the process were clear and consistent from beginning to end so there were no surprises. The interviewers were very respectful and appreciative of the answers given and showed genuine interest in my background, experience and how I could contribute to the team. The high level of respect for their colleagues and prospective new employees was very apparent throughout all my interactions with Propeller.
