I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Prudential in Dec 2014
Interview
I was interviewed by the office manager, and told that my licensing (around $1100!) would be up to me to finance, with a promise to be reimbursed. After explaining that I would not be able to meet that initial investment, the sales manager assured me that I should continue with the application process anyway, hinting that there might be some sort of way they could help me. I filled out the online application and was sent a questionnaire. I filled out the answers and received an email a few days later explaining that I was not eligible to be offered a position.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The questions are fair, but very hard to answer without explanation. An answer of "I Don't Know" could show negatively, but could be very accurate depending on why it was answered that way.
Online interview, asked mostly personal questions and about experiences in financial field. Interviewers were very nice would recommend. Come prepared to answer some questions regarding organization and other skills as well.
I applied online. I interviewed at Prudential (Tysons Corner, VA) in Dec 2023
Interview
There were three rounds of interviews, the first with a manager, followed by a group Zoom call, and finished with another one-on-one with a manager. It was not hard, they asked basic questions. They care more about personality and work ethic than prior work experience.

Question 1
Asked what personal characteristics are important to me.
Pretty standard interview process. Went thru 3 rounds of interviews; explaining the day-to-day role, getting to know me and my professional goals, and final interview with a compensation plan.
Prior to the interview - there was an online webinar that explained the opportunity. This helps narrow down candidates who were more interested in the salary than the actual job duties.
