I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Prudential in May 2023
Interview
The call with the recruiter left me feeling quite disappointed. Despite my background in product development through agile methodologies, successful leadership of cross-functional software development teams, and knowledge of various APIs, the recruiter seemed fixated on the need for Adobe API experience, even though it was not mentioned in the job descriptions or qualifications. As I spoke on my other relevant experiences, I got the impression the recruiter lacked understanding of the technologies I spoke about and how my technical knowledge aligned with the role's requirements specified in the job description. If the hiring team had a very specific qualification in mind, it would be beneficial to include it clearly in the job qualifications. This could save both the recruiter's and candidates' time.
