I interviewed on a late afternoon for a replacement technical writer hire. I received a product & demo room tour, not much one on one with the hiring manager. He had very red bloodshot eyes, like pinkeye, who knows, and I asked if he was OK. He said he was, they had "an event" the night before and there was a half empty tequila bottle on his desk, it looked very unprofessional. He said he was having an allergic reaction but it looked otherwise to me.
