I had a short call with a member of the team to go over the role and what it would be like. I then had a panel interview with a few people. The interview consisted of around 10 questions related to the role, most of which were standard and expected. My understanding was that this was the only interview for the role which seemed strange since I barely spoke with the hiring manager. The interview was average but the people didn't seem too interested in me, I kind of got the impression they may have already made their decision.
I got ghosted afterwards and wasn't told whether or not I got the job. That's infuriating but also reflects on the organization as a whole - if that's how they treat their candidates, how do they treat their staff?
