Interview
The first interview was with a Product Manager over a similar project. It was very conversational and centered around past experience. The next phase was a project with presentation. A prompt was given and a date was set about a week out. I found the prompt to be challenging due to how little was known about the company and how they build.
A quick casual chat with the hiring manager, followed by a case study panel interview for which the expectations are extremely unclear. I spent ~20 hours doing research and putting together my findings for the case study. The presentation was 1 hour long, not many questions asked from the team. Got a blanket generic ‘we’re proceeding with more experienced candidates’ rejection email - super frustrating given the time and effort investment.

Interview
Unfortunate waste of time. I was given an interview 1 day after I applied and it all went well. Recruiter told me that he'd move me to next steps as he liked me. Then next day I get an email at 8am stating that the position was filled internally, which is 100% rude because this should have been clear internally.
