I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Pushpay (Seattle, WA) in Mar 2022
Interview
It was fast and efficient! It was first with the hiring manager, then several teams, then a final assignment + presentation. The recruited called the next day with the offer.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you worked cross-functionally?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Pushpay (Redmond, WA) in Jan 2025
Interview
Initially, the interview process was very straightforward (HR -> hiring manager ->panel of stakeholders) then the process derailed.
I was contacted via email by HR on a Friday at 12:05pm stating that I had been booked for an in-person interview at the Redmond office on Monday morning. During this interview, I was required to showcase a 30-40 minute presentation on a case study for a product launch. HR noted they were planning to make a decision on Monday evening or Tuesday morning at the latest and that they "hoped I could make this work".
Red flags:
1) No respect for my time or other commitments. I was interviewing with nearly a dozen other organizations and doing contract work, so assuming I'm available is just disrespectful.
2) If they are asking me to do free work over the weekend as an applicant, that tells me they don't have boundaries for their employees either.
3) The short notice indicates disorganization and that is the last thing I want to do: join a disorganized team.
4) Since this was not disclosed earlier in the interview process, it also indicates that they can't make a decision - adding layers to the interview process is a way to buy time to make decisions and hope one of the applicants shines.
So, I said "thanks but no thanks". My experience may not be a reflection of all interviews or Pushpay, but I'm not about to take that risk with my career.
