My interview experience with PwC Bulgaria was disappointing. The process required an in-person interview and a three-hour unpaid case study, with very little urgency or transparency around making a hire.
The job posting also stated that a CFA certification was highly desired, while the Senior Consultant salary range was only around €1,400 to €2,800 per month. That felt inadequate for the seniority and expectations of the role.
Communication was sometimes difficult because some interviewers’ English was hard to understand. I also came away with the impression that personal connections may influence hiring decisions, although I cannot verify that.
Overall, the process felt overly demanding, poorly managed, and not worth the time required from candidates.
4 rounds (HR-Manager with case - Senior Manager with Case - Partner). HR was very proactive giving feedback quick. Final round took a lot of time to receive feedback. The interviews were ok to manage.
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at PwC (Calcutta)
Interview
Two rounds of technical interview and then Hr discussion with negotiotion and all further to that documentation and offer. It is smooth. Preparation is required before appearing into any Big 4 interview.
