I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at PwC (Düsseldorf)
Interview
Long time-consuming process (around 6-7 hours of interviews all together) with business case preparation. It seemed like it was expert interviews with interest to get information. Very inappropriate process of many rounds with potentially intended behaviour on the last stage to share feedback that could be shared after the 1ar interview. In the first interview I mentioned that my German skills are area of development and if PwC position owner wants me to prepare the case, the language level that I have should be accepted from the beginning. Nevertheless, it was one of 2 reasons of not being accepted after 4 interviews of 60-90 min and business case preparation. That is waste of my time. The decision maker decided to test my German skills on the last round that was strange when I said from the beginning I would need to work on my German skills if they recruit me and made all interviews in English till end stage. I think if it is a blocker, you shouldn’t ask to prepare the case and invest any more time than 1 interview and of course 5 interviews. If you want to get more understanding of market, please find another opportunity than a recruitment process.
