I had a first-round interview for a Senior Associate role in the Sustainability area at PwC Australia in Perth. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing from the start. The call was not only excessively long, but the recruiter conducting the call seemed inexperienced and lacked professionalism. They hurried me through each question, frequently interrupted, and used an inappropriately harsh tone for a human resources professional.
Having participated in numerous job interviews throughout my career, this one stands out as the worst. This poor experience gave me a very negative first impression of the company, leading me to withdraw from the recruitment process. I strongly recommend PwC ensure their recruiters possess the necessary skills and tact required for their roles.
