When I interviewed at PwC for the Node.js role, the process was pretty smooth and straightforward. It started with an HR call where they asked basic questions about my experience, the kind of projects I’ve worked on, and my tech stack. The first technical round was easy — they asked me about how I build APIs using Node.js and Express, how I handle async code with promises or async/await, and a few questions on error handling. There was a small coding task to create a simple API, which was manageable. In the second round, they asked about how I structure a MERN project, how I implement login with JWT, and how I manage things like environment variables and deployment. The final round was a short conversation with the manager about how I work in a team and handle real-world issues. Overall, it was more of a discussion than a strict interview, and they were mostly interested in my hands-on experience rather than tricky questions.
