Contacted by recruiter for phone screen. Recruiter described the role in detail, then transitioned into questions about my experience. It became obvious that my experience wasn't aligned with the role so the recruiter told me so. I appreciated the immediate feedback. It was an open and direct conversation, which is what I like about this company. The last 10 min of the call we chatted about future positions that may align with my skill set. Although this role wasn't a fit for me, this was a positive interview.
