I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at QBE (London, England) in Feb 2014
Interview
Interview arranged via recruitment agency, Streamline Connections Ltd. Interviewed on-site with a senior manager and senior analyst within business support. Was a really good conversation rather than a typical competency based interview, although the competency questions were modestly included towards the end for sake of protocol. Both interviewers were experienced in their field and I had plenty of opportunity to fire back as many questions as were asked. After an hour was asked to sit a brief technical test at the interviewers desk to prove you can do what you say you can.
After what I thought was a really good interview experience and that they would get back to the agency with feedback straight....... a few days later...... a week later..... another week later.... Nothing. Nada. Zilch. No feedback whatsoever. Was told by account manager at Streamline that QBE simply failed to get back to them on any of the roles their candidates had been for. One will never know but either way, it's not courteous!

Question 1
No ridiculous or pointless questions - just be prepared to know the role you're applying as well as your CV. As with any job, you need to know your stuff.
Terrible. Waiting over a month to know outcome of initial screening call. I had to chase up. No decency to send email. I had to logon to find out. Why waste people’s time in an already challenging job market?
There were 3 stages in the interview process. First was with the HR team, team leader and product owner. First stage was a video interview, second a teams interview, third was a face to face interview.

Key qualities of a business analyst that make you successful at your job
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at QBE (Liverpool, England) in Mar 2023
Interview
Easy, not very technical. The technical interview just wanted to know if you could understand how data and databases work. Other interview was strengths and competency based. Not very responsive after the interviews. Took a while to hear back.
