Applied end of August, phone interviewed beginning of September with their "consultant", who I would later find out is actually an Accounting firm manager who has their Post-Graduate Certification in Industrial Psychology, for a completely different company who does not do any kind of recruiting. The "consultant" had me take a TTI Management-Staff™ (R4) which is a personality test, and a week later was asked to come in to meet with the "consultant" and HR director.
In-person interview was with the "consultant" who asked me an hour worth of personality questions and gave me a written personality test. Could not answer any of my questions that pertained to the actual position description and just stayed on personality questions. When ask what happened to the last EA I was told by the "consultant” the last EA was there for a short time and took another opportunity and the EA prior wanted more of a Marketing role. When I met with the HR director, for all of five minutes, they also could not answer any actual position description questions. When I asked them why this position was open they stated they have never had a fulltime EA and the last person was only part-time.
A week later I was called by both the "consultant" who left a voicemail stating they wanted me to come in for a final interview, a few mins later the HR director left me a VM asking if I could send references. I emailed both, sent my reference and was emailed back that they would schedule the final interview once they reached my references. Two weeks later no references were called; I followed up with them and was told they were still working on references for several candidates. Another two weeks later and none of my references were contacted so I started doing research on the "consultant" and realized this was a bogus interview.
After seeing the other reviews and doing more research, I am convinced they have no intentions on hiring an EA, rather collect Psychology data for the "consultant". I informed them I was withdrawing my submission and none of my Psychology data was to be used for an purpose.
