I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Qualcomm (Red Bank, NJ) in Jun 2012
Interview
The interview process was pretty average. I met with 5 engineers individually. They each asked questions regarding things on my resume and also wanted to me to expand on things that were listed. We also talked about the environment of the previous jobs and the things that Qualcomm had to offer in terms of assignments.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Qualcomm in Mar 2021
Interview
The interview was primarily for a RTL design verification role. Due to the pandemic, whole process was online. The interview went pretty smooth. There were 3 rounds, of around 1 hour each. Although the time limit shot upwards of 1 hour for 2nd and 3rd round. I would like to list down my observations as bullets.
1. The whole panel was nice and knowledgeable. No irrelevant questions except the work I had done.
2. There was no sense of rush and I was given enough time to answer.
3. Screen sharing and being able to draw & explain helped tremendously.
4. Every one of them took enough time to explain my role, if I’m selected.
