I had a phone interview with a guy that was not really prepared. The questions were basic but he was surprised I was not a Linux Unix expert and because of this there was no follow-up

They grill you a lot on your resume and CS fundamentals. Make sure to know every single thing possible. They will keep asking you questions until you don't know the concept anymore.
