Question 1
Nothing unusual. Just very standard questions about technical parts of jobs. Oddly nothing extensive about soft skills, which I believe is what sets candidates apart.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Qualcomm (San Diego, CA) in Oct 2017
Interview
on-site interview with 6 people, including the department head, said he'll be in touch in the next few days. It's been now 60 days and no answer. The interview itself went really well, Mostly competent people. Touched base with the recruiter /HR a couple of times and the answer was " everybody is really busy...we'll be in touch soon". I feel I wasted a whole day there, no common courtesy , goes with certain overwhelmingly east asian culture.
