Very relaxed interview. It was a group interview with about 5-6 people. I’m from the mainland so they asked me about what I liked Hawaii, what areas of expertise did I have in the OR. The staff was really nice.

Interview
I had been applying to many hospitals all around Honolulu and received nothing back but automated emails rejecting my applications. The Queens Medical Center was the only hospital to call me and did a quick phone screening interview with the nurse manager. During our talk she was just asking questions to get a feel if I would be a good fit for her unit. After our conversation she set up an official in person interview with her at her office. She was non threatening, immediately put me at ease and the interview flowed more like a conversation than an interview.
