I started with a phone interview with HR which consisted of obtaining a general understanding of my technical abilities, experience and career goals. Next I scheduled a phone interview with someone from accounting, which was somewhat similar to the first phone call, but this time I was speaking with someone I'd be working with directly. Then, I got scheduled to come into the office and interviewed in person with three people separately, two from the accounting team, and lastly someone from HR. The interview process with the accounting team was relaxed; we discussed my history and their history. We discussed my reason for finding a new opportunity and what I was looking for in a new role. HR was more curious about my personality and asked behavioral questions to ensure I would be the right fit for the team. Then we went through the benefits package. I was given an offer the next day, and then had to complete a background check.
