I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at QuidelOrtho Corporation
Interview
Initial phone interview with HR and then video interview with hiring manager. Interview with hiring manager was one of the worst experiences, she had not reviewed my resume at all and once she finally did (which was on the call) she determined I didn’t have the experience she was looking for. Complete waste of time. The interview shouldn’t have been scheduled if I didn’t have the experience she was looking for.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at QuidelOrtho Corporation (San Diego, CA)
Interview
Had 4 interviews over 5 weeks (including the HR phone screening). One 30 minute call with the hiring manager, followed by two "panel" interviews done in succession via web call due to Covid. After all that, no reply from the coordinator, recruiter, or hiring manager. I found this shockingly unprofessional and downright rude.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
General history, performance, and work style questions. Not many "behavioral interview" questions. The last interview was more of a meeting with people who all asked me if I had any questions for them. I got the feeling the decision had already been made at that point, though I wasn't sure if they decided on me or someone else. I am guessing they just put a certain # of people through the same process, whether they are interested in you or not at any point. As a manager, I would hate to have to interview this way because I like to do the right thing by people, and not mislead them just to check boxes or fill quotas.
