The most unorganized and stressful interview process I've ever had to go through.
This whole experience just revealed how unorganized the organization is as well as how little regard they have for peoples' time.
For starters, the interview process was extremely robust for no reason. 5 interviews with 8 people for a non-senior and non-managerial role.
The interviews were no different either, the same questions were asked in the same order so it makes me wonder if there was ever any internal communication. A waste of time if you're not going to ask new questions.
Scheduling was a nightmare. Recruiter would schedule the wrong time then call to blame me for the mistake. Consistently inconvenienced: I would wake up with multiple missed calls, voicemails, texts and emails all before 8am for last minute interviews (with less than 4 hours notice). Not only would I have little notice but they would also try to schedule outside of availability.
I was pressured into interview outside of my availability only to find out the interview was out on maternity leave. Why are people pressuring people to work when they are on maternity leave AND the interviewee is also not available?
Then I was told I would have a "final" interview. Then after a few days they reached out again for a second "final" interview.
In the end, I was honestly relieved to have not received an offer. I couldn’t comfortably accept it when I almost withdrew several times.
I’m just annoyed my time was not respected and completely wasted.
