I learned a lot, but this experience left a really bad taste. I interviewed for one role, but after the final stage, I was called and told they thought I'd do really well in another role. I agree to meet the manager. However, the manager quit, so no one contacted me for some time. After seeing the job post, it wasn't what I'd expected, so I withdrew my application. An exec contacted me a couple of weeks later, asking me to reconsider interviewing for the role because they really wanted to work with me. After meeting with the exec on a call and learning more, I decided to move forward and meet the newly assigned manager. After a few more weeks of hearing nothing again, I was asked to do THREE more interviews. Afterwards, they told me I'd hear back by the middle of the following week. I didn't hear anything, so I emailed them at the end of the week. They said there was a delay in making the decision but decided to go with another candidate. So many emotions and time went into this experience. Ultimately, I've learned never to put your eggs all in one basket, value your time, and always have your guard up.
