I was just some newbie who was recommended to the job by a contractor who frequents the shop. I walked in asked for the manger (who at the time was behind counter), I introduced myself and informed him that I not very knowledgeable in HVAC but that I was eager to learn if he was willing to teach. We talked for a bit more and he gave me an application. Two days later he called me asking if I can start ASAP, I accepted. Best warehouse job I ever had.
