      Account Director Interview

      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at R/GA (New York, NY) in May 2011

      Interview

I was brought in as a referral and came in for a 2-3 hour interview that included HR as well as 3 key account leads on the brand. All of the interviews went well. I sent follow-up notes that evening and received responses back letting me know that HR would be in touch regarding next steps. It wasn't until another 1.5 weeks until I heard back from the HR rep. During this call HR expressed that 1) they wanted to change the job that I was interviewing for and wanted to make sure i'd be interested in that role and salary (which was a solid salary) 2) indicated the need to have me meet with the CMO the next day I communicated that I was going away the next day and could come in to interview, but it would have to be before my trip or a call while away. I was told she'd get in touch with me asap. Not a word. While I thought the team was great, overall I thought HR handled the process poorly.
