I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at RBC (Toronto, ON) in Feb 2017
Interview
One of the most depressing 1:1 interviews I've ever had. Apparently, the role has only four direct reports (non-manager level), albeit called "director". The hiring manager was hostile in a passive-aggressive manner: staring into her laptop for the entire hour barely making eye contact and paying little attention to what I was saying; her questions about my past experience indicated that she didn't even bother looking at my resume. Towards the end, she made a comment about my age comparing me to a "96-year old grandpa", then added "well you're not there yet". Never heard back from RBC - don't have any regrets.
